Lee Hays

We are excited to have Lee Hays as our Director. Lee is a Sweet Adelines Certified Director and has been a part of SAI for 38 years. She has brought her sparkling energy and enthusiam to directing ChannelAire chorus for 8 years. She previously co-directed South Valley Sound chorus.

“I was educated to teach Physical Education, and my first job after college was as a Tennis Professional,” says Lee Hays, director of ChannelAire Chorus and member of Carpe Diem Chorus. The thrill of teaching is what led this 38-year Sweet Adeline to 16 years of directing: “There is nothing in the world like the thrill of getting just one person to learn something new. You either hear or see that lightbulb light up when you stand in front of your chorus."
